Making a Magazine Cover Experiment - Katherine and Oliver

We were asked to continue practising using Photoshop and to make a mock up of a magazine cover in an hour. One key thing was that we had to take our own photos rather than relying on pictures from the internet as we had done with our poster practice. This was so that we could learn what shot distances work, what poses are easiest to manage, how to frame the shot and compose it for the cover etc. Here is a selection of the shots we took:
